AT&T tweeted today that it will release the Samsung Galaxy S II handset Oct. 2 for $199.99 with a two-year contract.
Customers will need to choose a $15 per month minimum data plan.
The Galaxy sports Super AMOLED plus touch screen technology which is among the best in class for image, color and clarity. The T-Mobile and Sprint versions have huge 4.52 inch screens (AT&T’s model is “only” 4.2 inches). They have 1.2 gig processors. Each phone is also 4G capable has 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus and flash plus 1080P video recording and a 2 megapixel front facing camera.
The Sprint phone launced Sept. 16 at $199.99 with a two-year contract.
