iPhone 4 topped sales at Verizon and AT&T in September
Either some folks didn’t get the memo about Apple launching a new iPhone 4S Friday, or they didn’t care, but according to Cannaccord Genuity analyst Mike Walkley, the iPhone 4 was still the top selling phone at AT&T and Verizon in September, just weeks ahead of a new iPhone 4S launch.
Sprint, which won’t offer Apple hardware in its stores until Friday, saw the Samsung Galaxy S II top sales for September.
T-Mobile’s biggest seller was the HTC Sensation.
At Verizon and AT&T, Walkley’s charts shows the iPhone 4 as both companies’ top selling device for the past six months, tracking back as far as the chart lists.
We expect the iPhone 4 models to remain top sellers after Apple took more than one million pre-orders in the first 24 hours for iPhone 4S.
