iPhone launch seems imminent; Apple to reset iCloud beta this week
9to5Mac reports perhaps the most definitive news yet regarding the iPhone 5 and/or 4S today.
It reports a posting on the Apple developer boards Sunday afternoon, stating Apple will be resetting the iCloud backup data Thursday, Sept. 22. This should indicate the release of the next iPhone operating system, iOS5, is imminent.
We’ll know more when and if Apple sends out media invitations to one of the more anticipated media events in Apple’s recent history. Might we see an iPhone 5 running iOS5 on Oct. 7 or so?
Could be.
