A new survey from ChangeWave Research reveals Apple and Samsung are the most popular brands among consumers shopping for new smartphone
Apple topped the survey of more than 4,000 North Americans, with 54 percent of the vote among customers who planned to buy a smartphone in the next three months. That’s down 11 percent from a similar survey taken just before iPhone 4S was released.
Samsung came in at number two, with 13 percent of consumers surveyed stating a preference for the Sammy. That number is up from five percent in September 2011. Motorola, RIM and HTC totaled 12 percent combined among those planning to buy in the next 90 days.
