According to Deadline, Sony is in talks to get rights to a film about Steve Jobs. Jobs, the co-founder of Apple, passed away earlier this week.
The $1 million to $3 million development deal will feature a script based on the upcoming novel, “Steve Jobs,” by Walter Isaacson. Deadline reports the producer will be Mark Gordon.
Sony recently produced The Social Network, a biopic about Mark Zuckerberg and how he founded Facebook. Isaacson’s book on Jobs, originally scheduled for Nov. 21 has been moved up to Oct. 24 in light of Job’s recent passing.
